Müden/Mosel

Lying among the vineyards on the sunny bank of the Moselle are the 800 inhabitants of the beautiful town of Müden - one of the oldest settlements in the region. It is possibly of Celtic origin, but the Romans and Franks lived here as well. Near the romantic village square visitors can find well-preserved half-timber houses and other sites of interest, for example the St Stephanus catholic church or the former rest house for the boats on the Moselle. With its well-signposted hiking paths and special wine and nature walks, Müden is an ideal spot for relaxing excursions into the countryside. Müden offers its visitors a variety of leisure time activities and restaurants. Image
