| In Eltz castle you can find important examples from two famous porcelain manufacturers, Vienna and Hoechst. In the first hall of the Treasure Vault is a selection of the Eltz collection of Hoechst porcelain from the 18th century. Hugo Franz Graf zu Eltz was a major shareholder in this well-known porcelain factory and he normally took his dividend in porcelain. The second room is supported by Middle Ages arch-vaulting and an enormous central pillar. It contains items from the former property of the Eltz family in Vukovar, like the eye-catching Viennese porcelain from the 18th and 19th century. | |
